I am an experienced secondary school teacher and specialise in Media at both GCSE and A level. Question 4 requires students to demonstrate AO2: understand and analyse how writers use linguistic and structural devices to achieve their effects. These are a series of short lessons to guide them through the processes and approach for this style of question. There are some frames and models to help structure and ilustrate how the response should be put together.
